Being Thankful

On this Thanksgiving Day, I am using Apple's products to check emails, look for Friday deals, read books, write blogs, send message to friends, play fun games, and enjoy new pictures from recent trip. I am being thankful while I am enjoying these.

See Word Definition While Browsing

After upgrade iPhone and iPad to iOS 5, I can see the word definition while I am browsing. It is nice to have new feature.

Upgrade iPad to iOS 5

It is not easy as upgrade iPhone 4 for me. CPU utilization was heading to 100% while it was upgrading and in backup stage. I left it for whole night and found it was still running in next morning.

I search the web and tried different methods. It was still not working. Some people suggested to reset iPad to manufacture and upgrade it to iOS 5, and then restore it with the backup. I took this way finally. The upgrade was smooth and quick. But the last and only backup I have is after the reset. So, I have to reinstall all the apps.

Upgrade iPhone 4 to iOS 5

It took several hours to upgrade my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. Most of time spent on backup. I like iMessage and tried it after the upgrade. I found only few people I can send iMessage to while many others are not available. They may not upgrade their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to iOS yet.
